ORF documentation back to the nature: “Between Purbach and Gols”
Excerpt: “In his romanian homeland long ago as a hero, the modest wood sculptor Daniel Bucur tells us his story of childhood dreams and youth in Romania, the positive inclusion in Austria, the incredible journey of his sister, and he lets us feel, what he himself is carved out. . ”

Smooth wood, pestered material, round shapes. Anyone who sees his sculptures, wants to touch them. Wants to explore the surface of the material with the palm of the hand. Daniel Bucurs works are aesthetic at first glance and urge to be touched. They stylize and show deeply human forms.
Daniel Bucur was born in Romania in 1962 and lives since 1992 in Gols/Burgenland. Since then, he revived the domestic art- and cultural scene in many ways.
