Smooth wood, pestered material, round shapes. Anyone who sees his sculptures, wants to touch them. Wants to explore the surface of the material with the palm of the hand. Daniel Bucurs works are aesthetic at first glance and urge to be touched. They stylize and show deeply human forms.
Daniel Bucur was born in Romania in 1962 and lives since 1992 in Gols/Burgenland. Since then, he revived the domestic art- and cultural scene in many ways.
